Our first post!

Hello and welcome to the SEED 2 GREEN blog!  This website will serve as a method to document our efforts as we strive to create an urban garden at Grace Dodge High School in the Bronx.  At the present moment, it may be hard to imagine the freshly snow-covered plots in front of our school as being the place where we will be maintaining our plot, but there is a lot to do from now until then.  We will be spending these winter months planning our course of action, contacting organizations, looking into fundraising, and spreading the word about the student-driven SEED 2 GREEN group.  Well, that's about it for our first post.  Feel free to check in with us either on this site or by emailing us at SEED2GREEN@gmail.com.  Thanks!
